Pregnancy is a beautiful and exciting time whether this is your first baby or your fifth. As you anticipate the arrival of your new little one, you will also encounter questions as you prepare and make decisions.
Your doula is the person who walks you through any questions you have and provides physical and emotional support from prenatal to postpartum. As you embrace your new parenting role, your doula is there to encourage and support you.

Meet Your Antioch, il Doula
Tonya Schieler
Welcome! As a mom myself, as well as a certified birth and postpartum doula and pediatric sleep consultant, I'm excited about the opportunity to assist you and your family; it is a personal and professional honor for me to share in this thrilling time of your life. I'm here to encourage and support you wherever you stand on the broad spectrum of birth and parenting methods.
From babysitting in my community to nannying through college, to nurturing my own three beautiful children and beyond, I've worked with families and children most of my life. Motherhood intensified my natural empathy and compassion for fellow moms and parents. It is now my privilege and joy to serve and care for families like yours.
My services extend from Lake and McHenry counties in northern Illinois to Kenosha, Racine, and Walworth counties in southeastern Wisconsin. Virtual meetings for birth and postpartum planning and sleep consulting are also available.
